Weekend Wazzup for February 6 2005

Fox News Channel' s "Cost of Freedom" Saturday Morning shows are summarized here.
Wazzup in the blogosphere--to pick a random spot--

Random Roger had a nice roundup of iShares v. CEF's for various foreign countries, and concluded that oftentimes the CEF might be the better "buy". In his Big Picture, he has a great Dick Vitale line about somebody being a "Dow-Joneser, always up or down"!

Also up is Sixth World's Roundtable, which discussed NEM.

Bill Cara talked about gold in his roundup of the week--He thinks gold will move up again when the dollar moves down. I also noticed he kinda likes the SBC-ATT deal, but not PG-G.

Ron Sen had a nice roundup as well--his email notednthe epidural steroid injection may have started to help the sciatica--hope you get better, Ron!

Email came from Roberto Pedone -- I checked out his blog and you should too.

You should also check out GalaTime, who had an interesting looking options play on TKLC.

Always interesting is Trader Mike who talked about that AskJeeves buying Bloglines story--like most everybody else, I'm asking what does it mean for me?

What Sunday means for me is that Chairman MaoXian's newsletter is out today--give him a little something for the effort to get it. It contains some great trading info. Talk with him (and some other notorious characters) in his weekday chat.

Finally, uglychart got my attention by mentioning shaolin monks. Xie xie nin.

Have a great week all!
